We are a show stable based in London, Ontario specializing in the training, showing and sales of Quality Hunters & Jumpers and free lance coaching.

February 19, 2012

We were back at Highland Green today for another hunter schooling show. Many new riders and mounts that are green, and some new partnerships that were working on their performances together.

Some highlights included: Katie McCowan and Theodore securing Reserve Champion in the 2'6" division with great rides in all classes.

Lindsay Edwards and Sir Broadrick at their first hunter show coming away with a 4th and 5th over fences.

Jamie Francis and Rather Than again being consistent with placings in the 2'9" division.

With the weather being great today we traveled outside our area and attended the Iron Horse Hunter Schooling Show in Milton. It was a very well run show and great to take the horses to a new venue.

Good results were shared by Karly Westman-Mallatt and Generally Tuff, Jamie Franis and Advocaat, Katie McCowan and Theodore and a Reserve Champion for Jamie and Rather Than.

We will defiantely go to more to expand our knowledge and keep the horses fresh.

Avatar C.R. competed at the Highland Green Jumper Schooling Show today and came away as Champion of the final division. More great miles put on this horse.

Today was our first outing for the year. We went to Highland Green Schooling Show and a successful day was had by all.

Karly Westman-Mallatt came out on Generally Tuff with a 1st, 3rd and 4th in the competative 2'6" Division

Katie McCowan received two 2nds in the 2'6" on Theodore

Kara Clement brought out her new baby, Oakley and was 3rd in the 2'6"

Jamie Francis rode Lori Kirkpatrick'sAdvocaat to a 1st and 3rd in the 2'9'

Great job girls!!!

Today I am suffering the loss of my best friend for 18 years. A fixture at the horse shows. RIP Tessa...you were the best friend anyone could ask for.

Well Katie and Problem Solved had a fabulous first trip to the Royal Winter Fair. They came home with an 8th over fences and scored an 81 in the Stake class to finish 2nd in their final class. What a great moment for all of us at Rosewood. Congratulations Katie!

Now Problem Solved is offered for sale/lease as Katie has sadly outgrown her. She is ready to take her next rider to the Royal!

Oops again, it has taken a bit for me to sit down and up-date the website again.

Now show season has come to an end....I might have some time to spend on it. Other than Katie Donlan and Problem Solved who have qualified to compete at the Royal Winter Fair.

We also had a very good Provincial Trilliium Circuit group this year with many qualifying and attending the Championships held in Sept. at Caledon Equestrian Park.
